The Essence (from "completely" and "to have") of a Poet deals with the transition of the poet Nikola from the potential to his actual form, fulfilling the purpose for which he had committed himself since he was a young child. Life has been tough for Nikola, as he lost both of his parents at an early age. Having lived half a century, he reminisces about his past loves, starting from his teenage years. The process of psychoanalysis, to which he submits at a certain phase of his life, unearths childhood psychological traumas that decisively shaped his life and preferences. It is a constant struggle with obstacles that, however, do not distance him from his beliefs and principles, which prioritize love.
